What a year it has been for us here at Hi5. The club continues to grow it’s impact in our surrounding school’s an community.
This year Hi5 was able to join up with Macleans College to help out with the coaching of their junior boys teams and have been fortunate to be able to use the Maclean’s gym for our club trainings on Sunday which has been amazing for both coaches and players. This means Hi5 is now partnered with 3 local schools to assist with the growth and improvement of Basketball in Macleans College, as well as BBI and Pigeon Mountain Primary.
Our club trainings have been highly successful, with the Macleans gym allowing us to bring in more players and coaches to the club.
We also saw great results from our teams which has made us very proud. We saw wins and high achievement across our 2 PMPS, 5 BBI, 2 Macleans, and our various ACCC teams which were also great. We are also proud to see a number of players and coaches achieving representation level spots with Counties Manukau Basketball.
Thank you for all of the coaches, players, helpers, and parents for your efforts in helping us support the growth of Basketball in our community. We are looking forwards to an even better 2023!!!
