Hi5 has a goal to be a multicultural and inclusive community, where only the love for the game of Basketball matters. Due to the high number of Chinese players present at our club, we are fortunate to be able to send teams to take part in local Chinese tournaments.
During the term 3 holidays, Hi5 was able to enter 2 teams into the Auckland Chinese Community Centre tournament. The Hi5 Dragons were sent into the Intermediate grade, and the Hi5 Slam into the Primary age grade.
We are delighted to announce that both teams were able to secure 1st place in their respective grades, a tremendous achievement for both sides. A special thanks to coaches Quincey, George, David, and Ray for helping the sides to victory.
